Dermapen stimulates your skin to produce collagen. We need collagen to keep our skin look firm and healthy! Technically, it is a fractional micro-needling device that works to tighten, lift and bring back youth to the skin. Fractional micro-needling or collagen induction therapy (CIT) uses needles to pierce the skin in a controlled and precise pattern with minimal discomfort and virtually no downtime. It is also safe for all skin types. Dermapen® can be used almost every place on the body. For example: Face, chest and back of hands, just to mention a few.

What does Dermapen help with?
    • Fine lines
    • Wrinkles
    • Scars from acne, surgery or from a prior injury
    • Stretch marks
How long does the treatment take?

Depending on the area it can take from 15-30 minutes.

How quick does it start to work?

Benefits can be seen after just one treatment. For maximum results, it is recommended that you schedule 3-5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. In cases where more aggressive treatment schedule is needed such as acne scar revision, a greater number of treatments may be necessary for maximum benefit.

Does the Dermapen hurt?

Depending on the area being treated and the aggressiveness of the treatment, there can be some slight discomfort during the procedure. A topical numbing cream can be placed on the treatment area 5-10 minutes prior to the procedure to help with any discomfort. So far, no one has needed the numbing cream.

What else can I expect during and immediately after the procedure?

Redness of the skin can appear, as well as pinpoint bleeding. The severity of the redness will depend on the aggressiveness of the treatment and individual skin type. You will be provided a calming ointment immediately after the treatment.
